Hi there, thanks for stopping by! I’m Paul Gray, author of drum tuition book ‘The T-I-M-E Drum System', available on Amazon.
I’ve been enjoying playing drums for over 30 years. I play with Burnt Out Wreck (www.burntoutwreck.com), the band fronted by Gary Moat, formerly of 80s rockers Heavy Pettin’. I also offer drum lessons in and around Cambridge, based on my book 'The T-I-M-E Drum System'.
I studied music at Keele University, and then drums at the Drumtech school in London with Francis Seriau, the founder of Drumtech. I have also attended master-classes with Ralph Salmins (Van Morrison), Dennis Chambers (Santana) and Steve Smith (Journey).
During the nineties I played in London-based original bands, notably with US singer/song-writer Eileen Rose and re-formed NWOBHM pioneers Angel Witch. Then in the noughties I performed all over the UK and abroad in tribute act Bon Giovi. I subsequently played with tributes Con Jovi, Bon Jovie, A Saucerful of Floyd and Nighon Maiden.
