For over 25 years, Diplomatic Language Services has provided language services to military and government agencies in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
DLS has set itself apart by employing only professional, native-speaker instructors capable of administering highly customized programs. The Arlington, VA-based company provides access to over 2,000 well-qualified linguists who are ready to perform a full range of services as needed. In 1999, DLS was the first language service provider to be awarded a GSA schedule.
DLS' linguists and staff have the ability to respond quickly and effectively to clients’ ever-changing needs. One of many projects the Defense Language Institute (DLI) has entrusted to DLS is to create and place Mobile Training Teams in military bases all over the country. DLS has been responsible for this program since 2004 and continues to successfully assemble teams in a consistent, reliable manner.
