Nidarosdomens Guttekor

The Nidaros Cathedral Boys’ Choir has over 900 years of rich history. It’s the main choir of Nidaros Cathedral which is located in the ancient capital of Trondheim, Norway. It’s also the main choir of Royal events.

The choir will celebrate its 100 years of modern history in 2027 with a global tour.

Current artistic director and conductor is Thomas Berg-Juul.

There are 100 members in the main choir, 70 sopranos/altos (9-15 years old) and 30 tenors/basses (15-75 years old). In addition, the mini-boys choir, has 40 boys ages 7-9.

Apart from religious repertoire, the choir also sings Norwegian folk songs as well as songs from different cultures around the world. Each year the Choir collaborates with orchestras to present large scaled compositions.
