A songbook requires your eyes to dart all over the page and loop back around in an impractical way. My method is going from beginning to end in a cohesive way.
Writing out simple chords, and maybe having a strumming pattern written down somewhere else in rare cases.
The only thing left to do is to make quality practice time. Get in the woodshed and work out the kinks again and again. Do this slowly, rewinding when anything isn't working.
You are now becoming someone that is "better" than you. Really, they are just more familiar with the song. Or they have more aptitude. In any case, this is the method you want 👇👈🏻

Friends, I am uploading an edited video to Youtube now. It is all about bending, and my different discoveries. Really 2 main points, but many bends are demonstrated.
This lead guitar technique is something I've been working on recently in the background. I hope you will watch this whole video. It's short, and has no filler information.
I forgot how much goes into making a video. Recording individual clips, making sure they're all perfect, recording an explanation, designing a thumbnail image, editing the lesson, fine tuning everything, fixing the internal data etc.
It takes a lot of time, so it was a good project for during the day. The bending video was going to be a livestream, but sometimes I like to get creative with the editing process.
