Hi, I'm making music in Japan. I want to share my songs with foreign people. Sometimes I write lyrics with English. If you listen to my songs, please give a comment.
I did not claim that it is permissible to do anything as long as it is legal regarding my use of AI-generated illustrations. I wanted everyone to understand that. However, in further criticism directed towards me, there were many remarks pointing out that I am a person lacking morals.
I am not engaging in activities to anger or disappoint those who have valued me. Above all, that is saddening.
I still remain positive about utilizing AI technology. However, the perspectives of those who discuss AI plagiarizing copyrighted works did not seem to change.
I may not have realized that my approach continues to generate mistakes. I do not wish to further damage the trust and love I have cultivated through music.
Posting videos, I believe, is about the convergence of music, lyrics, and illustrations into one piece of expression. However, many of the singer illustrations I use are not drawn in sufficient numbers, and it has become difficult to find them on Piapro.
In other words, AI illustrations seemed like a lifeline to me, but in reality, they turned out to be a taboo that should not have been touched.
I sincerely apologize for the outcome that has nothing to do with music. However, I intend to suspend the activity of posting videos.
In recent videos, there has been significant criticism regarding my use of AI-generated illustrations. Frankly, I didn't anticipate receiving such strong criticism for incorporating AI-generated illustrations.
Currently, my stance on using AI is positive. However, I believe it's crucial to listen to the opinions of those with conflicting views. Therefore, I will explain why I am in favor of AI. If you have opinions on this matter, please feel free to comment.
As far as I understand, AI-generated illustrations are simply one of the convenient tools made possible by technological advancement. While artwork created by human creators may indeed hold higher value, it's evident that it also comes with significantly higher costs compared to AI-generated illustrations. For creators like myself who lack financial resources, AI illustrations serve as a useful tool that provides expected results at a lower cost.
The issue being pointed out is that AI illegally collects data from copyrighted works created by humans. However, I am aware that in current copyright laws in countries like Japan, such data collection by AI is not illegal. I believe the crux of the issue lies more in the morality regarding copyrighted works.
Naturally, I am also a creator. Hence, I understand that we humans, in creating our own works, often collect and learn from many others' copyrighted works without permission. I believe there's no human creator who makes works without ever learning from others' copyrighted materials. AI simply performs the same process at a faster pace due to advancements in science and technology.
Copying an exact same piece of work would indeed be plagiarism, but I don't believe there's copyright in artistic expression or style. Certainly, the advent of AI may be shocking and challenging to accept, but I think as humans, we need to adapt to such changes and continue to demonstrate a willingness to move forward to the next stage.
Feel free to reach out if you have any thoughts on this matter.
I am graduating from a university in Japan this month. I have decided to leave my parents' house soon and live alone.
I plan to make music my career, but I can't say that my income will be stable at first. If I cannot afford it financially, it will naturally be difficult for me to continue creating.
So, I decided to use a service called FANBOX to recruit supporters. For example, I am planning to release a limited number of original songs for my supporters.
My YouTube channel has been allowed to be monetized.
I have not shown ads in the past, but please understand that I may show ads in the future due to my financial reasons.
Also, SuperChat is now available, so if you would like to support me, I hope you will support me at my weekly piano lives.

This is regulus.
As a token of my gratitude, I'm going to release off-vocal version for each album.
This time, it's my 3rd album, "Voices In My Head".

In addition, I'm going to start streaming live piano playing on YouTube on a regular basis.
Every Thursday at 24:00 (Every Friday at 00:00) UTC+9
Each streaming is scheduled to last 60 to 90 minutes.
Unlike Twitch, I will rarely speak on the mic, as I'm more focused on the atmosphere.
I may miss comments while I'm focused on playing, but if you have any requests, you can write them in.
Also, there will be quite a lot of improvisation involved, so not all of the songs will have song titles.
It's just today, Thursday, so I'll be streaming at Today's 24:00 UTC+9.
I look forward to seeing you all there for a visit.
Thank you.
