Sorry for no real content last week. Week 13 in iRacing is rather doll and racing can be quite frustrating, I did plan to release a few videos on the new Ferrari GT3 and Porsche LMDH but thought it would be better if I do them when the new season and week starts as you will get a better understanding of how competitive the cars are with setups.
Amazing effort by the SMC racing team in the Sebring 12 hour yesterday. The team came home in 12th only 2 laps down after a few technical issue and my late crash after catching the grass on the exit of turn one that some how didn’t meatball the car.
Thank you to everyone who dropped by and supported the boys.
Big shout out to Liam Abraham and Ash Smith amazing effort by both drivers, with great consistency all race.
Well what an amazing race the Bathurst 12 hour endurance race was for the community newly formed race team, SMC Racing.
First of all I want to give a big shout out to everyone who dropped by the stream to show your support to keep us going until 4am in the morning.
Secondly I want to say thank you to the team, Liam, Joe and our crew chief Zekee. Everyone played there part in what was a fantastic race.
The team finished the night in 12 place from a field of 48 and could have easily have found themselves in the top ten, but that's racing! Well done lads what a great result from our first ever event as a team! 👏👏👏👏👏
I'm sure we will be seeing plenty more endurance races from the team in the near future.
