Hi guys! My name is Martina and I welcome you to my YouTube channel The Secret Craft Room!
I love the Holidays so much and I also love to create my own decor!
This channel started out as "The Craftycorns" where me and my mom made various DIY projects.
But then after a while the videos got more and more Holiday related. So we changed the name to The Holiday Workshop.
Since then I think I've finally found my niche, which is whimsical and sometimes odd decor. And that's when I decided to change the name to The Secret Craft Room.

Regarding my latest video...
First of all I want to say THANK YOU to everyone that left a kind and supportive comment! I really appreciate it. ❤️
But I did get a lot of very negative (and straight out rude) ones too..
I have been sharing my projects and ideas completely for free for 8 years. I don't do membership on my channel and I don't have Patreon where you need to pay to watch my videos.
The profit of making these videos are really really small, and most months it actually costs me more than I make. But I do it because I think it's a lot of fun.
This is the first time I've made a sponsored video like this and I must say that I am very disappointed in all the negative feedback I got.
I got comments about that it was boring and not creative and a lot more.. First of all, yes the machine cut all the pieces out for me. But I still designed it all by myself - just like I do with most of my projects (except for the ones inspired by others). And as several others stated, you could cut this out from cardboard as well - maybe just simplify the design a bit to make it easier.
I have actually been wanting a machine like this for a really long time, because it would really help me out a lot with my projects. I did get the machine for "free" yes, but where I live you have to pay taxes on sponsored or gifted products, so I actually had to pay for a part of it.
And even if I didn't have to pay taxes or if I did get paid on top of the machine, why would that matter? I don't think it's wrong to figure out ways to getting paid for the work you do. Especially since it means that I can continue giving you the content for FREE.
I am going to make more of these kinds of videos when I get the opportunity, and I will start to delete any rude comments.
Please remember that just because you can say (or write) anything you want, it doesn't mean you should.
And to quote Thumper: If you can't say something nice, don't say nothing at all! ❤️

Hi guys! Just wanted to give you an update on what's going on. I've been working on several projects but then I got a pretty bad cold so I had to take a break. And then, when I started filming again I burned my hand, so now everything moves much slower because of that 😅 But I will upload a new video as soon as I can!
