so i've been playing guitar for some number of years now, and i'm pretty okay. mostly, i only upload covers here.

i learn everything by ear and try to be super accurate about how i play things in terms of technique & philosophy, so usually i can help you out with questions or stuff about the songs that i've covered here, and just general guitar stuff if it's within my small range of expertise. some covers are more personal arrangements, though—which are substantially different from the originals. regardless i try to keep what i feel is the heart & essence of the song.

i also occasionally upload stuff to soundcloud at soundcloud.com/teeeckskay — usually half-covers or little demos of things where i just want to see how stuff sounds when it's put together or when i am learning something or experimenting with something.
