This is the official YouTube channel for Brooklyn-based artist, Passerby.

Passerby first gained attention in New York as composer and sound designer for art-world darling and Deitch Projects artist, Haluk Akakce. After several successful collaborations with Akakce, Passerby took a position as a house recording engineer at the world renowned Clinton Recording Studios. After cutting his teeth working on recordings by Sting, Paul Simon, Bruce Springsteen, Regina Spektor, as well as countless string dates for Broadway cast recordings and movie soundtracks, Passerby went back to the other side of the glass to focus on original recordings.

In 2014, with the help of Hip Video Promo guru, Andy Gesner, Passerby's first single, "www,iig," debuted on VillageVoice.com, and then appeared on MTVU's weekly competition show, The Freshmen. "www,iig" won the week, beating out AJR, Augustines, Jake Miller and Rapture Ruckus.
