hello everyone, this is such a weird post for me to make because i've never had to experience something like this before but in the next videos i upload you will be seeing some changes and i thought it would just be best to address everything here. i've actually tried to talk about it in vlog clips but it just doesn't feel right to make content about it so that's why i'm writing this community post. my partner ben and i have unfortunately decided to split up, it's a heartbreaking decision but one that is ultimately for the best. i have moved houses so you will be seeing me in a very different space from now on (and you will still get some dog content because we will be co-owning our dog zuko).
i'm not sure when my next video will be out but i am okay and i am still working so there will be videos out very soon! i just wanted to get this announcement out of the way before i get too many questions about my new house.
basically i posted this on my bookstagram (jaimes.library) so apologies if you've already seen it! long story short, i feel like i am stuck in a rut when it comes to my content. i do genuinely feel like the videos i've been posting over the past couple of months are a reflection of that. i love making videos but i've been seriously lacking ideas and inspiration and i am not a fan of this feeling, or the quality of what i've been uploading!

i want to firstly state that this will not change my content on my channel in any way. i will still be uploading ambitious reading vlogs and the same amount of videos here. this is just for people who want some extra content. secondly, i wanted to make this patreon as accessible as possible so there are no seperate tiers, just a flat rate of 5USD a month to unlock everything the patreon has to offer. you will be charged up front and then your subscription renews a month later! so if you join today you will not be charged again on the 1st!
