Archivist and founder of Nickstory Archives.

If you've stumbled across this channel, chances are you love TV shows too. I have a strong passion for preserving old TV broadcasts and sharing my discoveries with folks like you! Here you'll find bumpers, commercials, and other cool relics that I've dug up from the archives. Cartoons and kids' shows are my main interest, but I try to upload a little bit of everything so everybody has something they can enjoy.

Hey everybody! I’m excited to finally announce the development of a major personal project I’ve been working on for many years…

My autobiography!

I’ve been penning the story of my life since before Nickstory was even a thought in my head, and I’m excited for people to get to read it one day!

This book is a raw, emotional account of all the triumphs and pitfalls I’ve faced in life that ultimately shaped me into who I am today. You’ll learn about my favorite memory, and you’ll learn about the worst day of my life. You’ll learn about my greatest fears, and you’ll hear gutting stories of deep trauma, emotional abuse, and how my resilience carried me through each and every one of these events.

This is the story of how an autistic man found strength in a world that kept tearing him down and learned to love himself and others.

I am that man, and this is my story.

Release and publication plans to follow as I near the finish line in writing this.

You can keep up with the latest developments here at my Patreon:

(Due to the heavy and often intense subject matter, I am writing this book with adults in mind. This is not a children’s book. I am holding no punches — this will be a painful, but powerful read.)

For many years, it's been a dream of mine to find a piece of media that was genuinely lost, recover it, and make it available for public viewing. Now I can finally reveal a secret I've been keeping for the better part of the year... I've done precisely that.

Hocus Focus is one of Nickelodeon's earliest shows, premiering on New Year's Eve 1979 and only airing for a single season. None of the episodes survive in the Nick archives, and most of the series is believed to be lost. I'm honored to have played a key role in helping to preserve this once-lost piece of Nickelodeon history.

The journey from acquiring this tape to digitizing and preserving it was a long and treacherous one, but that's another story for another time. For now... enjoy this insanely rare episode!

Update in the Made for Kids saga: YouTube has restored comments to all but one video I’ve submitted appeals on.

“Tape Clips: Retail Edition…?” is still upsetting them for some reason. I’ll keep fighting it until somebody can clarify what’s so offensive about it.

Nevertheless, this is a big victory moment. Even my Krusty Krab Training Video upload has comments reinstated. Wooooo!!

Hey folks! I'm thinking about filming myself editing some Tape Clips videos and discussing stuff like how I select my clips and why certain things spark nostalgia for me. Anybody interested?

Hey, Tape Clips fans! I'm still working through my retail collection and picking out clips that stand out to me for one reason or another. It's a lot of fun re-exploring tapes that I haven't touched in 10-15 years.

I just posted another video previewing some clips I've thrown together over the last few days. Check it out! I'd link it in this post, but YouTube already MFK'd it... woo hoo.

Only 43 days left 'til y'all can see this and Disney can't do anything about it. Happy birthday, Mickey!

Alright, at the risk of giving YouTube more content to unfairly flag as "Made for Kids"... I'm starting production on a follow-up to my big Tape Clips montage from January. Instead of TV recordings, this montage will be made up of the retail tapes I watched during my childhood. Tapes I acquired after I turned 13 will not be included in the compilation.

It's anybody's guess when this thing will be released. I'm expecting it'll take at LEAST another year to produce. Unlike my TV recordings, most of my childhood retails aren't digitized, so that's an extra mountain of work on top of figuring out how to arrange the clips.

On the other hand, I could provide behind the scenes looks at the whole production process if anybody's interested. Lots of ways I could go about this... stay tuned for more!

While I'm fighting off all these "Made for Kids" claims, would anybody be interested in a montage compiling clips from my childhood retail collection?

This video get MFK'd within like a minute, so just like this post for now if you're interested.

So moving forward with this channel, I'm thinking I'll do live premieres for my longer videos.

I figure this will be a good way to keep the community engaged while YouTube's disabling comments on most of my videos. We can chat amongst each other and hang out before the inevitable restriction hits. What do y'all think?

YouTube strikes again with one of their brilliant "Made for Kids" deductions. Sigh...
