Al crocevia tra passato e futuro, Americhe e Africa, tra le avanguardie del clubbing e la “retromania” di molti festival jazz, Black and Forth e Jazz:Re:Found si fanno portavoce di un presente meticcio e di un groove democratico, un ponte essenziale tra epoche, linguaggi e audience. Era dai tempi di Herbie Hancock e Miles Davis che i linguaggi del jazz non avevano una così grande popolarità e forza di penetrare nel tessuto dell'intrattenimento mainstream e nel lifestyle. È evidente il ritorno sul mercato culturale e musicale dei linguaggi black, dall'Hip Hop al Jazz, e di un'ondata di suoni e progetti con matrice afroamericana.
