I go by the stage name of Defcon and I've been making rap music for about two years. I write all of my own songs, and rather than writing violent, mindless, drug-related lyrics like a lot of rappers nowadays, I try to put positive or thoughtful messages in my songs. As for my recording methods, I've never even been in a recording studio. I make my music in my own house using an AT-2020 USB microphone and Audacity recording software. My goal is to make some good music, help bring the rap industry back, and maybe make a little money along the way.
