Research and Innovation Office (RIO) of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) fosters the University’s technology development and advances with an aim to benefit the society. RIO comprises the former Research Office (RO) and Innovation and Technology Development Office (ITDO) to synergize research capabilities to facilitate the management of research grants and contracts, and to explore different collaborative platforms for high-impact multidisciplinary research among various stakeholders.
We set splendid technology platforms in the area of Life Science and Biotechnology, AI and Advanced Computing, Food Safety, Advanced Manufacturing and much more to support and foster partnerships among universities, industries, governments, supranational bodies, and the public.
