Hey everyone. As well as Davinci resolve editing tutorials, I am currently working on a mini series where I interview local (Sydney, Australia) filmmakers with a specific focus. I hope you enjoy it. I will be releasing the first episode in the coming weeks.
I will be releasing camera gear review videos soon as well.
Important note* I will still be releasing davinci resolve editing tutorials as well as sprinkling these content every now and then

So the reason why I haven't been uploading DaVinci Resolve 17 tutorials in a while is because I have had some hardware failures with my new computer. Turns out there were 3 hardware components that were faulty, the Power Supply Unit, Motherboard and GPU. The PSU and motherboard has been sorted but I am waiting for a new 3080ti graphics card. I have been told it will be another 2-4 weeks wait and 6 weeks without the computer. 🙃🤦🏼‍♂️

I definitely didn't plan on this hiatus from tutorials but I hope to temporarily upload more tutorial videos in a week to make up for this.
I hope you guys understand.
Yes I will be making a video about this.
I did upload last week but I had to temporarily use a friend's computer for a day. 😅

Update: sorry if I haven't been uploading frequently. I have been working on some remote colour grading and visual effects for a sci-fi action short film. My computer that I have been using for tutorials is currently struggling to keep up with even the most basic edits, so it makes it difficult and frustrating to make tutorial videos at the moment or any videos in general. Currently in Sydney we are under some strict restrictions on our movements. So I am using this time to build a new computer with all the latest parts so I should be up and running within a couple of weeks 🤞 I am also using this time to plan new videos too. I am excited about this new computer, it will be a video editing BEAST.
Feel free to comment on what you think the specs are (I will be making a video about this computer when it's set up)

No new video this week, will be uploading again from next week. I may be a little inconsistent with uploading the next few weeks due to an increase in video freelance work. I have been quite proud of being consistent recently, 16 weeks (4 months) of weekly uploads is honestly a record for my channel, 😅 I am hoping in the next few weeks I can start to share more review videos and Cinematography tips and tricks style videos as well as more DaVinci Resolve 17 tutorials.
Here is a behind the scenes photo from a music video I got to shoot. Also the link to the full video out now.

(I didn't edit or colour correct this music video)

Hey! A short film I was the Director of Photography on, the trailer for it is live. I am quite proud of the result of this, it also talks about a very current issue that's happening globally. I also got to colour grade this inside of Davinci Resolve 17 using red giant magic bullet looks emulating film stock.

Shot like an 80's Hong Kong action film but colour graded like a 70's Kung Fu movie
