Sensatious Hiatus
Hey YouTube, my name is Mike and “Sensatious Hiatus” is a channel where I make videos related to hiking and traveling.
I'm an American originally from the Nashville, TN area and I started this channel just after I thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine in 2015. That hike started a whole new chapter in my life and I recorded it and the following travels on this channel. In 2016, I lived in Australia for a year on a "Work and Holiday Visa” working for a bit in Sydney before traveling extensively in both Australia and New Zealand. I then moved back to the U.S. and worked as an Appalachian Trail Ridgerunner for a couple years in Connecticut and Massachusetts. In 2018/2019, I completed an "Around the World" trip through Europe and Southeast Asia. I then moved to Arizona for a couple years while saving up to thru-hike the Pacific Crest Trail, which I attempted in 2021. I lived in Asheville, NC area for a year and then moved back home to Tennessee where I reside now.
