昭和のテクノポップ、ニューウェーブ、ドリームポップ、シティポップ、渋谷系などから影響を受け、自身の楽曲に新しい感覚でピックアップし発信している。自身の音楽を”ドリームパンク”と呼んでいる。
TVCMへの出演・楽曲提供、アメリカのミュージシャン、ジンジャー・ルートの作品参加や、ミニアルバム『SWEET SWEET SWEET 』のリリースなど精力的に活動している。2024年には初の海外公演、台湾ツアーを成功させる。
Amaiwana was born on January 1, 2000 in Kyoto, Japan. She is a multitalented performer with a varied career as a singer-songwriter, trackmaker, actress, and model. Her unique music brings the sounds of Japan’s retro Showa Era to the world, drawing on genres such as technopop, new wave, dream pop, city pop, and Shibuya-Kei. This is Amaiwana’s own ‘Japanese dream punk’.
Since 2022, she has further diversified her activities by writing music on commission, appearing on television and in commercials, and collaborating with American music artist Ginger Root.
In 2023, she released the mini-album ‘SWEET SWEET SWEET’ and went on a nationwide release tour.
In 2024, she went on her first Taiwan tour and also a new project coming soon.
