As a Malaysian-born Chinese who moved to Australia then to New Zealand then back to Australia again (and currently resides in Adelaide, South Australia), Edwyn Tiong possesses a uniquely accented voice that can be best described as "American with a hint of everything". Edwyn has been voice acting for years on the internet, and if you were a frequent browser of Newgrounds in the mid-00s, you would probably have heard him in almost every single game and animation on there. These days, he's been lending his talent to a variety of video games, including quite a few point-and-click adventure games! He's awfully tickled by that, as he grew up playing those!
In addition to voice acting, Edwyn is also an experienced sound mixing editor, having produced a variety of audioplays, audiobooks and comic dubs that shine from his sense of aural artistry. He has also worked as a punch up writer on a variety of productions, and is one of the lead writers behind the upcoming video game Freedom Planet 2.

So hey. Hear Robert Stevenson and me shill for some kind of "webbed comic"? Printed on paper? Based on a video game? What the heck's a "Finals Fantasy"? And if it's a theater, where are all the phantoms? Am *I* a phantom? I thought I was the Black Mage? sorry this is all very confusing
In all seriousness though: tickled pink to be brought on to promote the 8-Bit Theater 20th Anniversary Book! It's like coming full circle, given that one of my first big online animation roles was the Black Mage in those Newgrounds Flash cartoons way back when! Wow, we sure have come a long way and/or had a long journey, huh? Don't answer that.
In any case: here I am, twenty years later, in an almost official capacity advertising for this little slice of internet history! Only not quite official because please don't sue us massive multinational video game company, it was done for the specific purpose of the lolz.
