Ellie and I are thrilled to announce our Neighborly Christmas shows are returning for another year, and tickets are ON SALE NOW!! Come ring in the most wonderful time of the year with us!
During the show on Saturday at the Ryman, my managers Paul and Sam Steele, presented me and the band with this beautiful plaque marking the 500 MILLION streams we have had of our music. I laughed a little inside because when I started this band, we were selling CD’s only, iTunes was brand new, and “streaming” was way in the future. We were afraid of streaming at first, thinking it would ruin our business. Now, looking back, since we are independent and own our music, and with all the MILLIONS of people who our music has reached because of streaming, I am beyond grateful. Paul and Sam said it best, our fans are our label. You have and always will be the heartbeat of this crazy and weird dream we have, of making a life in music. Thanks for listening, for playlisting, for blasting it in the car with your friends and blasting it in the kitchen with your children, for the quiet sobs to “You Never Leave My Heart” and “Way Back When” and for the party playlists with “Dance With Everybody” and “Find Your People”. We have no plans of ever stopping making music. So here’s the deal, you keep listening and we will keep writing, recording, singing, and touring. We love you all. Thank you so much for this incredible milestone.
I'm excited to announce we will be doing a Colorado tour this summer! Tickets will be available for all shows this Friday, but if you sign up for our newsletter, you will get access to the pre-sale for Fort Collins and Boulder happening tomorrow. (Steamboat will not have a pre-sale, and the Dillon show is free!)
Not April Fools - something we have been keeping a secret since June... Strangers No More has a second volume of songs. I am thrilled to announce that we are releasing the entirety of the 21 songs album this Fall. Volume II is coming September 12th!
I wrote this song from the well of all my love of rock n roll. It’s a stanza song telling the story of people lost in their circumstances, which we as humans often have so little control of. We all suffer, it’s a part of the deal, and singing it as loud as I can in the bullet of a rock song makes it feel like we are all in this together. Here is one of my favorite recordings we have ever made. We give you... “Suffering”.
We hope you will go have a listen and share it with your people.
To all my fans across the Atlantic, I have heard you! I am thrilled to announce I will be doing a short solo tour early next year in the Netherlands and the UK! Tickets go on sale this Wednesday.
