香港流行鋼琴協會 (POPPIANO.ORG) 成立於2006年9月7日。
有見大部分人仍存有「彈琴必須看譜」的錯誤觀念, 我們積極推動「流行鋼琴即興彈奏法」, 讓初學者亦能於短時間內學習一套方法, 彈奏自己喜愛的流行曲。
我們星期日在香港文化中心提供面授課程, 亦設有網上課程。
HK Pop Piano Academy (HKPPA) was founded on 7 September 2006. In view of the common "piano score is unavoidable" misconception, we actively promote playing by ear. Our highly-acclaimed piano method helps absolute beginners start playing their favorite songs in weeks instead of years. We have workshops held in Hong Kong Cultural Centre on Sundays and also offer online courses.
All our videos are played by ear. We strongly believe that playing the piano should be spontaneous, creative and fun. For maximum enjoyment of our videos, please be prepared to hear something experimental, and often not be played accurately, nor completely. We saw many critical comments written by watchers who are supposed to come from the sight-reading world.
