A series of short, documentary style, videos showing off some of the native wildlife here in Southern Illinois and Missouri.
The series focuses mostly on Reptiles and Amphibians, and promotes an understanding of these beautiful creatures. These videos are meant for the general public and not for seasoned herp enthusiasts. This is my way of educating the public, and thus applying conservation principals that I feel should be valued by all. I am a Midwest ecology specialist and care immensely about the conservation of out native habitats and the fauna that calls them home. These videos are used widely across the country, specifically in Midwestern classrooms and I receive emails from teachers regularly telling me thanks for the learning material. If you are an educator and use these videos, please leave me feedback. As an individual there is not much I can do from a conservation standpoint. So knowing these videos help kids learn is very important to me.
