Hi i'm Nick from Melbourne. I have a degree in biomedical science with H1 honours in Sleep Neurophysiology and over 15 years experience helping patients with sleep disordered breathing (SDB-OSA). I have worked in many of the best hospitals in Melbourne including Monash, Epworth & The Alfred. My channel, CPAP Reviews is an educational channel for those who want to learn about Sleep and the products used to treat sleeping disorders like CPAP Machines.
A little bit about me. I have 5 brothers and 3 kids (hopefully no more!). My hobbies include fishing, camping, guitar, golf and photography. My favourite thing in the world is sitting by a fire with friends, playing guitar and drinking scotch. When i eventually grow up and stop being a kid i want to live somewhere rural either in the bush or down the coast and live a simple life with my wife and kids and few good mates.
If you would like to say hi, please email me at cpapreviewsaus@gmail.com
Nick

Just ordered my resmed airsense 11. I’ve been watching for a few months and purchased the wellvue 02 ring based on your recommendation and I must say, you may well have saved my life. I found my o2 was dropping down to mid 70s and heart rate low 30s. I then ordered an at home sleep study and found I have severe apnea. I was a life long smoker but quit 8 years ago. Ended up with COPD. Went to Hawaii by and up the mountain where I got cerebral hypoxia. Taken down via ambulance. Got Covid as soon as I got home. Non vaccinated. Have had issues with breathing since. But since finding your channel, I’ve taken back control of my life. As much as I can, at least. So thank you, for all your doing. Your funny, calm, intelligent delivery of information if easily and readily understandable. I’m so grateful for the hope I feel now. I’m excited to see what will come
Thanks George!

I’d say that’s a fair summary from Grok below
SleepHQ appears to be an online platform designed primarily for users of Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) machines, which are used for treating sleep apnea. Here's a synthesis of what SleepHQ offers based on the information available:
- **Functionality**: SleepHQ allows users to upload data from their CPAP machines to analyze, track, and share their sleep therapy data. This platform aims to help users improve their sleep by providing insights into their CPAP therapy's effectiveness.
- **Community and Education**: Beyond just data tracking, SleepHQ seems to foster a community aspect where users can connect, learn, and share experiences related to CPAP therapy. They offer resources like the SleepHQ Academy for enhancing user understanding of sleep therapy.
- **Features**:
- **Data Analysis**: Users can view detailed analytics of their sleep data, which might include apnea events, machine usage, and therapy effectiveness.
- **Cloud-Based**: Being cloud-based means users can access their data from anywhere, which is useful for those who travel or consult multiple healthcare providers.
- **Community Interaction**: There's an emphasis on community support, suggesting forums or interactive features where users can discuss their experiences.
- **Integration with Other Devices**: Mention of integrating devices like the SleepHQ O2 Ring indicates potential for monitoring additional health metrics like blood oxygen levels alongside CPAP data.
- **Pricing**: SleepHQ offers both a free version with limited features and a paid subscription for more comprehensive access, including unlimited data history and community access.
- **Target Audience**: It seems aimed at both newcomers to CPAP therapy, who might find traditional data reports daunting, and seasoned users looking for more detailed analytics or community support.
- **Innovative Approach**: The mention of SleepHQ in contexts like social media discussions and comparisons with other software (like Oscar) suggests it's part of a broader movement towards making health data more user-friendly and community-driven.
- **External Perception**: From the discussions and posts, SleepHQ is viewed as a user-friendly alternative to more technically complex or less intuitive software like Oscar, especially for those who prefer mobile or tablet interfaces over traditional computer setups.
SleepHQ, therefore, combines health data management with community support, aiming to make CPAP therapy more accessible, understandable, and socially engaging for its users, leveraging technology to enhance sleep health outcomes.
