You mean zeppelins?

@Dr_piFrog

Optimizations for the two different technologies are not compatible. Thus I chose Option 2, however I am concerned about in-fly-float meals and if complementary drinks would be served. Would there be Frequent-Fly-Float (FFF) plans available? Oh, the complexities.

None of the above. It all comes down to inefficiency and sea state limitations for high speed.

I didn't click on the video link, so maybe my answer was out of context. I was under the impression we were talking FLYING ships such as zeppelins or flying aircraft carriers like the ones portrayed in the Marvel movies. Not hydrofoils ekranoplans or ground effect vehicles.
