Talk about a meeting of my content in one video! We've been talking about ‪@MichellePhan‬'s podcast, Afterglow, in WUIM, and I just put up Part 3 of Behind the Controversy: James Charles where we focused on Dramageddon 2. ‪@Tati‬ was on the podcast and talked about this time period and the time period that we are going to talk about in BTC:JC Part 4.

I'd love to know what you thought of the interview! Here's a link to check it out.

@may041

I don’t mean to be rude, but I am so suspicious with the YT beauty community all of a sudden popping up on podcasts where a lot of ears will hear it. First it was Jeffree, then Jaclyn and now Tati. Sometimes it just feels super planned and like a PR situation. I hope I’m wrong, but the beauty community hasn’t been void of planned and strategic moves, which makes this conclusion not so far off the beaten path. 🤣🤷🏻‍♀️ Having said that — I am grateful for them opening up and helping to inspire many who struggle with addiction. It can be extremely isolating and it’s easy to look at someone on a screen and assume they are somehow unscathed from the pressures/struggles and hurts of li

@KatieKitty2003

She's talked before about struuuuggling when she was younger, but I honestly never would've guessed it was like that. I really do feel for her, both then and now. I do hope she's able to maintain healthy friendships now, though.

Woow, that interview wasn't expected, and more the sentence that Tati dropped right at the beginning of the conversation, I was putting my dumbells away when I heard it, and I have to rewind it and I added CC and I was woow and understood that this was the right time for Tati to talk about it publicly and right there I was wondering if she ever disclose or shared that dark moment of her early life with JC and JS🤔 because to my knowledge I have never heard that before. To me, it looks like she kept all of that with her family, and that's good. I am very glad that she is the one that mentioned and no one else because that is her own story. I am glad that she didn't divorce and sad that her wish of want to be a mom hasn't realized yet. Nice to listen from her own voice that she is doing OK with herself, and she is happy working on her Tati list. I don't follow her, and I don't watch her videos, but I liked it when I watched some videos in the past years ago

@Just.Bailey

I didn't watch the podcast, but I did watch Tati's video about her sobriety. It seems like it has felt like a heavy secret for a long time. I'm happy she can let that go ❤️

I am surprised this is being shared now when it was filmed in February. Thats a long time ago. Is it intentionally being dropped now post law suit?

I thought the interview was great, I think we all learned a lot about Tati aka Tanya. It was also interesting to see Tati without any video filters on from what I can tell. she just looked older than the videos on her channel.

cannot believe she overdosed and has been to rehab

@YayaBolender

This interview was interesting. Okay so she grew up a little. The overdose thing, I don’t know if I believe it. I know that she had some struggles before starting YouTube because she vaguely mentioned it once, but I thought more of a depression or something like that, problems with her father maybe? Anyway, my problem is that I don’t trust her and many other creators on YouTube. It’s always easy to be nice when we are at the very bottom, but how we behave when we are at the top is much more telling, and I remember how she behaved when she was at the top. She needs something from her audience now, so… I am not going to subscribe again, sorry… 😞
