"It's normal for oil paint to take 2-4 weeks to dry"

It might be "normal" due to poor quality materials and misinformation.. but if slow dry time is not what you want, then don't accept “normal” to be your standard.

My paintings are usually touch dry within 24 hours… even with moderate impasto. 48 hours is my maximum not my minmum.
