So I became a dad two weeks ago. I now live in a city but i will soon move to a coastal city in Uruguay near the beach. I've been thinking about how much I will enjoy the waves with my daughter when she grows up, and I’d really like her to be the kind of girl that gets back up when she gets knocked down. The water in punta del este is pretty heavy, so this will happen a lot!
Thinking about that I made a very little girl that looks like my wife having fun with the waves. I love using sequential images in illustration and comics, some artists like frank quietly are really good at this, so i wanted to give it a shot.
I'd like to do more stuff like this, telling a small sequential story in an image. Have you ever been tumbled around by a wave?
