This highly anticipated event will be held on the West Front of the US Capitol in Washington, DC, and will feature a swearing-in ceremony as the key moment. The Ambani couple, comprising Mukesh Ambani, Asia's richest man, and his wife Nita Ambani, will be attending the ceremony and will have a prominent spot alongside other notable guests, including Trump's Cabinet nominees, elected officials, and high-profile business leaders from around the world.
The inaugural event will kick off on Saturday, January 18, with a reception and fireworks display at the Trump National Golf Club, followed by a Cabinet reception and a Vice President's dinner, which the Ambanis will attend. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar will represent India at Trump's swearing-in ceremony and will also meet with representatives of the incoming Trump administration during his visit to the United States. China will be represented by Vice President Han Zheng, who will be attending the inauguration.
The ceremony is expected to draw a large crowd, with around 200,000 people anticipated to attend on Monday. After the swearing-in, Trump will deliver his inaugural address as the 47th President of the US and then proceed to the President's Room in the Capitol for official actions, including signing executive orders.This will mark Trump's second term in office, following his impressive electoral victory in the November 2024 US-Presidential Elections.
